About GDW

THIS IS GDW

Berlin, 2014: Initiated by Tijen Onaran, twelve women meet regularly in Berlin to exchange ideas. The interest is great. And so, at the end of 2017, the regulars’ tables became Global Digital Women (GDW). The GDW community has over 30,000 members right now. Our goal is to boost equality, to make women with a digital focus visible across industries and to network them – whether in medium-sized companies, large corporations or in everyday life. For this we build on three blocks: Consulting, Content & Community.

In addition to the conception and realization of events, we advise companies on diversity issues and support them in achieving their goals and changing the corporate culture sustainably. With the FemBizSwiss and the Digital Female Leader Award, we also want to tell and reward career paths and stories of inspiring women in order to make them more visible. Our GDW events, where we talk and discuss the various facets of the digital economy with exciting guests, pursue the same goal. Our community receives even more input from our newsletter, social media channels and GDW Insights. Thereby, we not only present inspiring digital minds, but also exciting projects and give a glimpse behind the scenes at GDW.
